Information we handle

Launch Insights does not offer user accounts, comments, or submission forms, and we do not ask you to provide personal information on this site.

Our hosting, security, and analytics systems may process limited technical data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referrer, timestamps, and security or error logs.

How we use information

Technical data is used to deliver and secure the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate site performance. This includes measuring page views and outbound-link clicks. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Privacy-friendly analytics

We use a self-hosted Plausible Analytics service to measure aggregate traffic, outbound-link clicks, and explicitly configured event names or page properties. We do not use it to collect form values or free-text content.

Plausible does not use cookies, browser cache, or local storage. It processes request data such as IP address and User-Agent to generate a short-lived identifier for aggregate measurement. We do not use that identifier to recognize visitors across days or websites. Our infrastructure may still use strictly necessary security technologies and maintain access logs.

Data sources and AI analysis

We retrieve public product information from the Product Hunt API and use an AI service to help create clearly labeled editorial analysis. We do not intentionally send visitor information to the AI service as part of that process.

Service providers and external links

We rely on systems and service providers for hosting, security, privacy-friendly analytics, data sourcing, and AI-assisted analysis. They process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Links to Product Hunt and product websites take you to third-party services that we do not control.

Retention and security

Aggregate analytics and technical logs may be retained by us or our providers for as long as reasonably needed for measurement, security, reliability, and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information. To ask a privacy question or make a request, email support@vibecodinghub.org. We may need to verify your request before responding.
