Switch
Bring any AI agent into Slack, Teams & Discord
Switch is an open-source, self-hostable tool that brings AI agents into team collaboration platforms such as Slack, Teams, Discord, and Telegram. Agents join as named participants and share the same context and history as human team members. It supports multiple agent frameworks including Claude Code, OpenAI, Google ADK, and LangChain.
- Problem signal
- Teams increasingly use AI agents, but those agents often live outside the collaboration tools where work actually happens, creating context gaps and forcing users to switch between interfaces. Switch appears to solve this by letting agents participate directly in existing channels with shared history and room-specific context.
- Indie angle
- An indie developer could build niche integrations or extensions around Switch, such as specialized agent templates, vertical-specific room rules, governance/audit tooling, or deployment helpers for self-hosted environments. The open-source, self-hostable angle also opens opportunities for paid support or managed services.
